Contract Administrator Job Description

Newport Construction Corporation is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Contract Administrator to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our commercial administration department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with bidding by retrieving bid documents, preparing bids, and monitoring addenda.
  • Prepare subcontracts by pulling associated documents from contracts and submitting them for approval.
  • Prepare invoicing for our commercial division and distribute payment schedules.
  • Assist with proposal and quote preparation.
  • Maintain organized systems of physical and digital files.

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new systems as needed.
