Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Program Manager to lead the development lifecycle for our Transportation Partner Experience team at Amazon. This role will be responsible for managing the delivery of technical solutions, acting as a point of contact for third-party development projects, and driving visibility across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee our annual and quarterly planning processes to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Drive visibility across the organization by creating and maintaining project plans, status reports, and other communication materials to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Hold the team accountable to commitments by facilitating regular project check-ins and acting as the point of contact for our third-party development partners.
  • Create and maintain a backlog of feature requests and bugs, and prioritize them based on business needs to ensure maximum impact.
  • Develop and implement a holistic tracking mechanism to ensure all commitments are aligned and met.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Define and drive technical workflows for expanding our digital community, recognition, community impact, and data aggregation solutions to enhance the customer experience.
  • Oversee our third-party engineering relationships, executing contracts and general resourcing and reliability requests to ensure seamless collaboration.

Our Transportation Partner Experience team's mission is to drive engagement, advocacy, and business success among critical functions in Amazon's Last and Middle Mile logistics networks.

We achieve this by building insight mechanisms and delighter programs that connect, inform, and inspire the ecosystem of business owners who partner with Amazon.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience, with a strong background in software engineering and project management.
  • 3+ years of technical program management experience working directly with software engineering teams, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
  • Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition, with a focus on business outcomes.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent.
