Job Summary

This position is responsible for handling and resolving all aspects of billing and logistics operations, including guiding and training subordinate staff. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Primary Responsibilities:
    • Act as a backup and supporting role to the manager, supervising all team members by mentoring and monitoring.
    • Be knowledgeable on all aspects of billing processes, including Glovis SAP, Zuum (inbound), TMS (outbound), and HT's SAP.
    • Verify new rates and guide staff on billing processes.
    • Audit large quantities of invoices (both in and outbound), update carriers with aging reports for past due payments, and verify rates.
    • Be involved in the implementation of the newly launched inbound Zuum system to stabilize the accounting system within GLOVIS.
    • Troubleshoot system errors related to invoice issues.
    • Support auditing accounting books for vendors that served in dedicated movement programs (MDD, Trinion, etc.).
    • Analyze and review all AP accounts and reconciliation whenever there is a payment issue.
    • Request, receive, and analyze reports and data received from 3PL vendors.
    • Perform data reconciliation with proprietary systems.
    • Assist in the logistics system process to ensure problem resolution, efficiency, and improved distribution.
    • Ensure invoices are paid under the correct account and apply credit on SAP.
  • Secondary Responsibilities:
    • Plan and supervise the workload between admin specialists by understanding the workload of each account and train staff for new accounts.
    • Provide reports to management, including system-interfaced reports (Zuum and TMS).
    • Work with accounting to verify and predict all expenses, as well as provide sufficient evidence.
    • Support the month-end report, including journal entry preparation.
  • Tertiary Responsibilities:
    • Prepare, review, and audit all data entry (rates, GL code, Freight code, etc.) for month-end closing.
    • Handle, train, and guide subordinate staff on billing for inbound, outbound, and pass-through charges.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills

  • Bilingual English/Korean Preferred but not Required

Bachelor's Degree Required, Six (6) Years of Experience in Billings (A/R and A/P), Logistics and Supply Chain Required.
