About the Role

The Operations Manager is a key position within our organization, responsible for overseeing and guiding the day-to-day business operations for Diversified Applications Inc. (DAI). This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our aerial application business, which operates under the name Diversified Applications, Inc. or DAI.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain relationships with landowners, cooperatives, and distributors to promote our aerial application services.
  • Ensure landowners, cooperatives, and distributors understand the logistics and timing involved with aerial application.
  • Coordinate applicators, ground personnel, and chemical deliveries to ensure timely applications.
  • Oversee pesticide handlers to ensure proper mixing and loading.
  • Ensure safety procedures are being observed.
  • Keep up with changing state and federal regulations.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned by leader.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is required.
  • Maintain all accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Assist with invoicing and project map details.
  • Assist the branch team with projects as needed.
  • Provide branch team with employee forms and information.
  • Review work for completeness and quality.
Requirements
  • High school diploma.
  • Five years of related work experience is a plus.
  • Computer skills including the Microsoft Office package, Windows software, and QuickBooks.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
