Job Title: RF Systems Engineer

At SpaceX, we're pushing the boundaries of space exploration and development. As a RF Systems Engineer, you'll play a critical role in designing and developing the communication systems for our Starlink satellite constellation.

Responsibilities:
  • Simulate and model communication systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
  • Collaborate with system architects, RF engineers, and antenna engineers to define system architectures and specifications
  • Assess the feasibility of various designs and derive top-level specifications for RF links and RF and antenna subsystems
  • Characterize and analyze system performance to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide technical support to regulatory, coordination, and market access teams
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field
  • Experience with MATLAB, Python, C++, or other tools for modeling and analyzing RF systems
  • 1+ years of research or development experience in RF and antennas
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Master's degree or PhD in electrical engineering with emphasis in RF/microwave circuits or communication theory
  • Experience performing analysis and simulation of communication systems
  • Thorough understanding of RF passive and active components
