VP of Relationship Management - Bank

As a VP of Relationship Management, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, driving business growth, and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, providing exceptional service and support to meet their needs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow and retain client relationships, driving revenue growth and business expansion.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services and solutions to clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, applying knowledge to drive business growth and improve client outcomes.
  • Lead and manage a team of professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful delivery of client relationships.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including plan sponsors, third-party administrators, investment managers, and other agents of the client.
  • Review and analyze client data, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Develop and implement plans to address client needs and concerns, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Attend client meetings, conferences, and other events, representing the company and building relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development of business proposals and pitches, working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
  • Travel as required, with flexibility to accommodate life circumstances and responsibilities outside of work.
Requirements:
  • College education or equivalent experience.
  • Over five years' experience in a relationship management capacity, preferably in a trust and custody organization.
  • Trust accounting software experience preferred.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in trust, financial services, and/or employee benefit plan experience.
  • Understanding of defined benefit plans, defined contribution plans, and the role of custodians, TPAs, and investment managers preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze data and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
  • Professional presence and ability to thrive in a client-facing role.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong leadership and supervisory experience.
  • Experience with Taft-Hartley plans and other related backgrounds.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, with attention to detail and follow-through.
