Job Summary

Collier Park is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Medication Aide to join our team. As a Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional senior living experiences by administering medications and providing physical and psychosocial care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Medication Administration: Administer or assist with the administration and/or supervision of medications to residents in a safe, accurate, and timely manner.
  • Physical and Psychosocial Care: Provide physical and psychosocial care to all residents in a manner that promotes dignity, choice, and individuality.
  • Documentation: Document medications administered and maintain accurate records.
  • Communication: Conduct change of shift reports and maintain open communication with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Security and Safety: Maintain security of medication cart and narcotic keys, and conduct narcotic counts as required.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Satisfactory completion of state-required education/certificates/testing in relation to medication aides.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, write, and speak in English.
  • Physical Demands: Be in good physical health and free of communicable diseases; lifting, bending, and pushing medication cart about residence is required.
  • Experience: Experience in Assisted Living preferred.
