Position: Certified Medication Aide

Work Environment: Onsite

Shift: 8 Hours – 6:00am-6:00pm

Schedule: PRN

We are in search of a qualified Certified Medication Aide to enhance our community's commitment to providing exceptional care to our residents. In this role, you will be integral to the administration of medications and ensuring compliance with established healthcare protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement prescribed healthcare plans accurately.
  • Adhere to organizational policies and regulatory standards.
  • Administer medications to residents as per the prescribed schedule with precision.
  • Document PRN medications accurately, as authorized by the supervising nurse.
  • Monitor and report any adverse reactions or side effects of medications to the supervisor.
  • Record vital signs of residents prior to medication administration when necessary.
  • Prepare and document regularly prescribed medications in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • At least one year of relevant experience preferred, or equivalent training as a Nursing Assistant.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
  • Good health status to perform job duties effectively.
  • Ability to lift and move weights as required for the role.
  • Capability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
