Position Overview:

Community Health and Wellness, LLC is seeking dedicated and skilled Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialists to deliver exceptional services to individuals with disabilities across Texas. We are currently hiring for flexible positions that offer competitive compensation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized home and community-based Recreation Therapy to children and adolescents facing intellectual and physical challenges, as well as behavioral and mental health issues.
  • Develop customized objectives tailored to the unique needs of each client.
  • Maintain thorough documentation for each therapy session.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and other service providers.
  • Submit timely documentation, including weekly invoices, progress reports, and related paperwork.

Qualifications Required:

  • Resume detailing relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Recreation Administration with a focus on Therapeutic Recreation, Leisure Studies with an emphasis on Therapeutic Recreation, or a related field.
  • Current CPR/AED/FIRST AID certification from an accredited organization (American Red Cross or American Heart Association).
  • Certification as a CTRS or TRS/TXC.
  • Valid Social Security Card.
  • Driver's License and proof of Auto Insurance (minimum coverage of 100/300/100).
  • Professional Liability Insurance with coverage limits of $1 million/$3 million.

Additional Information:

All contractors will be required to undergo background and reference checks. Compensation is based on education and experience, with an hourly rate of $60.00.
