Collier Park is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Medication Aide to join our team. As a Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional senior living experiences by administering medications and providing physical and psychosocial care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Medication Administration: Administer or assist with the administration and/or supervision of medications to residents in a safe, accurate, and timely manner.
- Physical and Psychosocial Care: Provide physical and psychosocial care to all residents in a manner that promotes dignity, choice, and individuality.
- Documentation and Reporting: Document medications administered and report any changes in residents' physical condition and cognitive/emotional status to the Wellness Director or charge nurse.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with peers and other team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
- Education and Certifications: Satisfactory completion of state-required education/certificates/testing in relation to medication aides and the Company Medication Aide Skills Competency Checklist.
- Communication Skills: Ability to read, write, and speak in English.
- Physical Demands: Be in good physical health and free of communicable diseases; lifting, bending, and pushing medication cart about residence is required.
- Experience: Experience in Assisted Living preferred.
