Position Summary:
The primary responsibility of this role is to facilitate the manual transfer of materials, either by hand, using a manual pallet jack, or employing a lifting device connected to a hoist as specified in the standard operating procedures.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Efficiently unloads and organizes materials by manipulating the lifting device attached to the hoist.
2. Manually loads or unloads materials onto or from pallets, skids, or lifting devices as required.
3. Transfers components manually from storage areas to kit carts or racks.
4. Adheres to a designated route within the department for loading kit carts.
5. Manages the manual loading and unloading of parts from the paint line.
6. Conducts safety inspections on essential equipment.
7. Performs tasks safely and efficiently, in accordance with safety regulations.
8. Utilizes electronic scanners for material transactions as necessary.


Additional Duties:
1. Maintains cleanliness and orderliness in aisles.
2. Assists in training and instructing colleagues as directed by supervisors.
3. Completes preventive maintenance and other assigned tasks as per Total Production Maintenance guidelines.
4. Undertakes other non-essential duties as assigned by management.


Job Requirements:
Ability to adhere to established methods and procedures while performing tasks. Must possess the capability to work swiftly and under time constraints for extended durations.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 0-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, typically acquired through high school education or equivalent.
  • Job-specific skills and safe operating practices are learned through on-the-job training and classroom instruction.
  • General instructions are provided for recurring tasks, while detailed guidance is given for new responsibilities.
  • Physical demands include lifting and moving objects within specified weight ranges.

Working Conditions:
Work is conducted in a shop environment with exposure to moving mechanical parts, high noise levels necessitating hearing protection, and various chemical hazards. Personal protective equipment is mandatory.

Physical Demands:
This role is classified as medium duty, requiring the exertion of varying weights frequently.
