Position Summary:
The primary responsibility of this role is to facilitate the manual transfer of materials, utilizing either manual pallet jacks or lifting devices as outlined in the operational guidelines.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Efficiently unload and stack materials using lifting devices connected to hoists.
2. Manually load or unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, or lifting devices as required.
3. Gather parts manually from storage areas to prepare kits for assembly.
4. Adhere to designated routes within the department for loading kit carts.
5. Handle parts manually from the paint line as necessary.
6. Conduct safety inspections on equipment to ensure operational safety.
7. Execute tasks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all safety regulations.
8. Utilize electronic scanners for material transactions as needed.


Additional Duties:
1. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
2. Assist in training new employees as directed by supervisors.
3. Participate in preventative maintenance and other assigned tasks.
4. Perform other non-essential duties as assigned by management.


Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates must be able to follow established procedures and perform tasks efficiently under time constraints. Required qualifications include:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to learn job-specific skills through on-the-job training and classroom instruction.


Working Conditions:
This position is based in a shop environment with exposure to various mechanical components, high noise levels, and potential chemical hazards. Personal protective equipment is required at all times.


Physical Requirements:
The role involves medium-duty work, requiring the ability to exert force to move objects ranging from 21 to 50 pounds occasionally, and 11 to 20 pounds frequently.
