Job Overview

I-State Truck Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting stored items from our shop to customer locations in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a vehicle to transport goods and materials to customers and other locations
  • Read production schedules and orders to determine items to be removed, gathered, or distributed
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences
  • Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute them to workers
  • Assemble customer orders from stock and place them on pallets or shelves or transport them to the packing station or shipping department
  • Use a computer to enter records and track inventory

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license with a CDL endorsement
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds consistently
  • Good knowledge of the area and ability to read maps and follow specific directions
