The Senior Quality Assurance Coordinator at Mount Sinai Health System plays a pivotal role in supporting the Directors of Quality at Mount Sinai West by developing presentations and reports, while also contributing to various quality initiatives and research projects. This role is essential for ensuring comprehensive coverage, engagement, and adherence to quality standards, as well as addressing specific needs of the health system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates Obstetrics and Gynecology quality improvement meetings, which includes setting ground rules, structuring meetings, creating slide templates, and developing polls. Manages meeting logistics, shares screens, organizes waiting rooms, and takes minutes.
  • Oversees patient experience and quality meetings specific to Mount Sinai West, gathering and analyzing data from various presenters.
  • Coordinates meetings for the surgical site infection taskforce and its subcommittees.
  • Leads project initiatives such as post-discharge phone calls, health equity and learning curriculum, and community advisory boards.
  • Plans and executes collaborative events with the MSH team.
  • Generates reports and handles data requests, including clinical measures overviews, quality case reviews, and weekly safety reports.
  • Assists with the management of OBGYN policy documentation and oversees the storage of policy versions.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
  • Engages in various health-related events and strategic meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific or health-related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
