Job Summary:
Community Memorial Health System is seeking a full-time Medical Office Assistant to provide direct support to the Family Health Center teams in both clinical and administrative areas. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and a customer service attitude.

Responsibilities:
• Assist physicians with patient care and handle clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks
• Fulfill patient care responsibilities, including checking schedules and organizing patient flow, accompanying patients to exam rooms, and collecting patient history
• Complete clerical responsibilities, such as sending and receiving patient medical records, obtaining lab/X-ray reports, and scheduling appointments
• Meet environmental responsibilities, including setting up instruments and equipment, cleaning exam/procedure rooms, and restocking supplies
• Complete organizational responsibilities, including respecting patient rights and responding to emergency codes

Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED
• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service attitude
• Preferred: experience working as a MOA or MA and/or certified as a Medical Assistant or CNA

Work Environment:
• Clinic setting
• Outpatient schedule: 5×8 Monday to Friday, no weekends
