Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembly Technician II to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in material preparation, soldering, crimping, labeling, and utilizing power tools, as well as reading blueprints and packaging products for distribution.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute specialized manual tasks associated with the assembly of cables, components, and printed circuit boards.
- Operate machinery and equipment to support product manufacturing.
- Utilize power tools for unit assembly and soldering tasks.
- Conduct tests and calibrate components to ensure they meet specifications and tolerances.
- Identify and troubleshoot units that do not meet quality standards, performing necessary repairs.

Work Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday: 3 PM - 12:30 AM
- Every other Friday: 3 PM - 11:30 PM

Compensation:
- Starting pay range: $17/hr - $20/hr depending on role.
- Benefits include 401(k), health, dental, and vision coverage from day one, along with bi-weekly pay and temp-to-hire opportunities.
- Enjoy every other Friday off.

Core Competencies:
- Proficient in basic reading, writing, and arithmetic.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and procedural manuals in English.
- Capable of working independently while following detailed instructions.
- Strong computer skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with crimping machines (JST, HRS, Molex, AMP, EDAC) and wire stripping machines (Schleuniger).

Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Ability to navigate the production floor, stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
- Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, and lifting of items weighing between 5 to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Hand dexterity and visual acuity are essential for operating tools and reading information.

Note:
- A high school diploma or GED is not required for this position.
