Job Overview

Work Schedule:
Monday to Thursday from 3 PM to 12:30 AM, with alternating Fridays from 3 PM to 11:30 PM.

Available Positions:
- Crimping Machine Operator: $17/hr - $20/hr
- Wire Stripping Technician: $17/hr - $20/hr
- Wire Tinning Specialist: $17/hr - $18/hr

The Mechanical Assembly Technician II is responsible for executing specialized repetitive manual tasks related to the assembly of cables, components, printed circuit boards, and complete units. This includes material preparation, soldering, crimping, labeling, and product packaging.

The role may involve operating machinery and equipment to facilitate product manufacturing. The technician will utilize power tools for assembly and soldering equipment for printed circuit boards or wiring, ensuring adherence to specifications.

Key responsibilities include conducting tests, calibrating components to meet tolerances and specifications, identifying units that do not meet quality standards, troubleshooting, and performing necessary repairs.


Essential Skills:
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and procedural manuals in English
- Capacity to work independently and follow detailed instructions
- Proficiency in computer skills
- Attention to detail and quality assurance
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Crimping Machines (JST, HRS, Molex, AMP, EDAC)
- Familiarity with Wire Stripping Machines (Schleuniger)
Physical and Mental Requirements:
This position necessitates the ability to navigate the production area, with responsibilities that may include standing, walking, climbing stairs, and sitting for extended durations. The role may require bending, stooping, kneeling, and lifting items weighing between 5 to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.

Hand and finger dexterity is essential, as well as visual acuity for distinguishing colors and adjusting focus for various tasks.

Furthermore, the position requires effective communication skills, including prolonged periods of talking and listening.
