Job Summary

Summit Fire & Security is seeking a highly skilled Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our team. As a Fire Sprinkler Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fire sprinkler systems to ensure the safety of our customers and their properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and test fire sprinkler systems to ensure they meet industry standards
  • Maintain and repair existing fire sprinkler systems to ensure they are functioning properly
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and make necessary repairs
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced technical school training or related work experience preferred
  • Current Fire Sprinkler License required
  • 3-5 years of experience installing pipe systems and valves required; 5+ years of experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic math skills, mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, customer service skills, decision-making skills, ability to multitask, ability to meet project schedules, ability to plan and organize, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to train others required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SalesForce and Microsoft Office preferred
  • Ability to operate a computer, tablet, and read electronic blueprints required
