  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on motors, panels, and electrical equipment
  • Responsible for the preparation and implementation of paints, varnishes, sealers, and rust proofing
  • Refinish, stain, and touch-up woodwork and furniture
  • Replace light bulbs, check electrical circuits, and repair dimmers and refrigeration controls
  • Repair furniture, doors, windows, and cabinet work
  • Fabricate office partitions, doors, cornices, counters, panel walls, and ceilings
  • Install, connect, and test sanitary plumbing fixtures, fire sprinklers, hydraulics, refrigeration, and other pressure systems
  • Perform maintenance and repair functions on major system breakdowns
  • Handle regular preventive maintenance of HVAC and refrigeration equipment
  • Ensure safe and efficient operation of boilers, chillers, pumps, life safety equipment, air handlers, and emergency generators
  • Responsible for preventive and regular maintenance of all equipment
  • Apply operation procedures as required by state and local codes
  • Perform water-testing treatment for boilers and chillers
  • Perform preventive maintenance of kitchen equipment as directed
  • Perform daily routine maintenance
  • Perform drywall repair, including mudding, taping, and finishing of walls and ceilings
  • Maintain inventory of spare carpet, related tools, and supplies
  • Install and/or repair carpet and all types of flooring as directed
  • Responsible for the installation of drop ceiling grid and tile
  • Responsible for repair and hanging of signs, wallboards, pictures, and mirrors
  • Presents oneself as a credit to JACK Cleveland and encourages others to do the same
  • Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate is required
  • Previous experience in mechanical maintenance work and building trades is required
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Mechanical skills are essential
