Position Summary
At Indigo Real Estate, we recognize that the success of our properties is largely attributed to the capabilities of our team members. We are currently in search of a Maintenance Supervisor who is dedicated to exceptional customer service and is motivated to achieve excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance of the property’s physical condition and aesthetic appeal.
- Coordinate and manage all maintenance operations, ensuring timely service requests and effective inventory management.
- Ensure all service requests are addressed promptly on a daily basis.
- Develop and manage an efficient on-call schedule for emergency maintenance.
- Lead the inspection and preparation of vacated units to ensure they meet company standards.
- Negotiate with vendors and contractors to obtain competitive bids.
- Maintain all contracts and warranties, performing routine maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Provide ongoing training and leadership to the maintenance team.
- Experience with high-rise or mid-rise residential buildings is preferred.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in property maintenance.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to make quick, informed decisions while maintaining confidentiality.
- Effective conflict resolution and customer service abilities.
- Proficient in prioritizing multiple requests and responding appropriately.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Familiarity with property management software, such as Yardi, is preferred.
- Valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance.
