Job Overview

OBJECTIVE:

The role involves providing administrative support and oversight for the adoption services program.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Support Dependency Case Managers in delivering services to families.
  • Facilitate and supervise parent and sibling visitations.
  • Coordinate and/or offer transportation for children aged birth to 18 years for visits, medical appointments, counseling, court appearances, and transitions.
  • Observe and monitor interactions between parents and children during supervised visits, documenting summaries in the appropriate database.
  • Deliver effective modeling techniques, educational support, and other services as outlined in the case plan under the guidance of the Case Manager. Ensure documentation of observations during all client interactions.
  • Oversee children in the absence of the Case Manager or caregiver, adhering to agency protocols.
  • Assist the Case Manager in acquiring necessary client documentation, including vital records and educational information.
  • Engage in client staff meetings and participate in all relevant team discussions.
  • Attend court hearings as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A valid driver's license in good standing is required. A High School Diploma or GED is mandatory, with a minimum of two years of experience working with children and families. Previous experience in child welfare and a college degree are preferred.
