Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Child Welfare Specialist to join our team at Safe Children Coalition Inc. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in counseling, social work, or a related field, with a proven track record of providing community-based services to children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop service plans in collaboration with clients and families.
  • Provide crisis counseling, referral linkage, and support services to individuals and groups.
  • Develop and implement group counseling activities and social skill instructions.
  • Participate in community outreach activities and document all outreach efforts.
  • Collaborate with program managers and other stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of experience in child welfare or social services.
  • Master's degree in a related field and one year of experience in child welfare or social services.
  • Valid Florida driver's license and insurability by the agency's current insurance carrier.
