HVAC Aftermarket/Owner Outside Sales Representative

At Mechanical Reps Inc., we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HVAC Aftermarket/Owner Outside Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our HVAC products to end-users, owners, and developers within the Mechanical Reps market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Initiate new business and establish relationships with assigned customers, including end-users, owners, and developers.
  • Present and sell our HVAC products and services to new and existing customers, identifying opportunities to drive company revenue.
  • Prospect and contact potential customers to expand our customer base.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets by the deadline, ensuring timely and effective sales transactions.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Set follow-up appointments to keep customers informed of the latest developments and product offerings.
  • Develop and create sales materials to present to customers, showcasing our products and services.
  • Sell our entire product line to assigned customer territories, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
  • Estimate and manage projects assigned to you, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Process orders, submittals, acknowledgements, and project management for complete sales transactions.
  • Attend industry meetings, manufacturer training, sales meetings, and other relevant events to stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices.
  • Assist in presentations and seminars to promote our company products and services.
Requirements:
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Deadline and detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
  • Knowledge of HVAC products and services.
  • Business networking experience and a willingness to travel.
  • 2+ years of sales experience in the HVAC industry, preferably with a strong track record of achievement.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales quotas and meet or exceed targets.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Our compensation structure is a salary/draw plus commission, providing a competitive and motivating package for top performers.
