Job Title: HVAC Aftermarket/Owner Outside Sales Representative

At Mechanical Reps Inc., we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HVAC Aftermarket/Owner Outside Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our HVAC products and services to new and existing customers in Central and South Texas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Initiate new business and establish relationships with assigned customers, including end users, owners, and developers.
  • Present and sell our company's products and services to new and existing customers.
  • Prospect and contact potential customers to drive sales growth.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets by maintaining a strong understanding of customer needs and preferences.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Set follow-up appointments to keep customers informed about latest developments and product offerings.
  • Develop and maintain sales materials to effectively present our products and services to customers.
  • Sell our entire product line into assigned customer territories.
  • Estimate and manage projects assigned to ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction.
  • Process orders, submittals, acknowledgements, and project management for complete sales transactions.
  • Attend industry meetings, manufacturer training, sales meetings, and other relevant events to stay up-to-date on industry trends and product developments.
  • Assist in presentations and seminars to promote our company's products and services.
Requirements:
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients and understand their needs.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of HVAC products and services.
  • Business networking experience and ability to leverage professional connections.
  • 2+ years of sales experience in the HVAC industry, preferably with a manufacturer's representative or similar role.
  • Willingness to travel and attend industry events.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales quotas and meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Our compensation structure is a salary/draw plus commission, providing a competitive and motivating compensation package.
