Job Summary:

The Inventory Planning Analyst will work within the Supply Chain department at Home Depot Management Company, LLC, partnering with merchants to develop and implement inventory strategies that maximize sales and inventory productivity for a merchandising category. This role is responsible for creating accurate SKU forecasts, developing the inventory and replenishment strategy, managing parameters for each category to execute the replenishment strategy, achieving target in-stock levels and planned inventory turns, and developing recommendations to improve inventory productivity.

Main Responsibilities:

- Manage daily orders, upload OUTLs, and manage CAR parameters to ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for merchants and MP, providing support and guidance on inventory-related matters.
- Respond to and partner with field concerns, providing oversight and guidance as needed.
- Manage transitions and resets, ensuring seamless inventory management.
- Identify process challenges and review with leadership to implement improvements.
- Communicate with vendors to ensure effective inventory management.

Requirements:

- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly retrieve, manipulate, analyze, and interpret data.
- Strong quantitative skills through knowledge of statistics and quantitative data analysis and interpretation.
- Ability to translate analysis to audience and communicate recommendations effectively.
- BA/BS degree preferred.

Working Conditions:

- Located in a comfortable indoor area, with occasional need to move or lift light articles.
- Overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
