Part Time HR Generalist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part Time HR Generalist to provide day-to-day tactical HR support on a permanent and consistent basis. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for a variety of HR needs across multiple states, working effectively with a remote workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee queries and concerns, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures. Facilitate Culture Sponsor meetings and programs, design and execute communication regarding events, holidays, and company-related announcements. Serve as the main point of contact for all culture-related improvements or employee engagement. Manage the eNPS Survey and feedback process, assist in recruiting high-priority roles as needed, and assist in event planning and coordination for the annual Penrod Palooza.
- Performance Management: Assist in administering performance review processes, ensuring timely completion and consistency. Support managers in addressing performance-related issues and developing improvement plans.
- Compliance and Record Keeping: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
- HR Administration: Own the day-to-day administrative functions of the HR department. Prepare HR reports and presentations as needed, manage all leave of absence (LOA) programs, and handle employee relations issues, including conducting investigations and providing recommendations.
Requirements
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification
- Experience with the administration of HRIS and related systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
- Self-starter with initiative who can prioritize and execute with minimal supervision
- Thorough knowledge of employment law at the federal and state levels (multi-state experience preferred)
What We Offer
- Hourly pay: $32-38/hour
- Flexible schedule: approximately 20 hours/week with flexibility to work up to 30 hours/week on high-demand weeks
