Job Title: Product Development Engineer

At Arcmed, we are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing innovative products related to pumps and valves.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of new products, from concept to launch, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design requirements and ensure product meets customer needs.
  • Design, build, and test prototypes to validate product performance and functionality.
  • Manage vendors and suppliers to ensure high-quality components and materials.
  • Conduct cost estimating and analysis to optimize product development and manufacturing processes.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and product manuals.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, with a focus on fluidics and precision engineering.
  • Strong understanding of fluid systems, pumps, valves, and manifolds.
  • Experience with 3D CAD design tools, such as SolidWorks.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including injection molding and machining.
  • Strong analytical skills, including FEA and CFD analysis.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the medical device industry.
  • Knowledge of quality systems and standards, such as FDA and ISO.
  • Certifications in design for assembly (DFA) and design for manufacturing (DFM).
