Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembler - Pressure Testing to join our team at Johnson Controls International plc. This role involves assembling and testing pressure equipment to ensure high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fits, adjusts, installs, or fastens unit or component parts to a unit.
  • Solders (brazes) on the unit or its component parts.
  • Shotblasts units, moves material, and drives the forklift.
  • Wraps units by using a heat gun.
  • Prepares units for shipping.
  • Cleans equipment.
  • Performs housekeeping and other duties as required.

  • Lifting 50 lbs. (occasional)

Environmental Factors

Manufacturing - Exposure to noise, dirt, dust, cold/heat (indoor), cold/heat (outdoor). Job hazards of working around heavy equipment and machinery.

Qualifications
  • Knowledge of hand tools
  • Read measuring tape
  • Good hand dexterity required to fit and assemble product
  • Some judgment required
  • Perform math at a level normally acquired through completion of high school
  • Ability to maintain clean and safe work area and/or equipment as required
Continuous Improvement

Active participation in a Continuous Improvement Team is required.
