Job Summary

Johnson Controls International plc. is seeking a skilled Assembler and Tester to join our team. As an Assembler and Tester, you will be responsible for assembling and testing pressure equipment to ensure it meets our high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and test pressure equipment to ensure it meets specifications and quality standards.
  • Use various tools and equipment, including tape measures, hand tools, and power tools, to assemble and test pressure equipment.
  • Perform brazing and soldering tasks to assemble and test pressure equipment.
  • Operate a forklift to move materials and equipment around the facility.
  • Shotblast units to prepare them for testing and shipping.
  • Wrap units using a heat gun to protect them during shipping.
  • Prepare units for shipping by ensuring they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Clean equipment and maintain a clean and safe work area.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Knowledge of hand tools and ability to read measuring tape.
  • Good hand dexterity required to assemble and test pressure equipment.
  • Ability to perform math at a level normally acquired through completion of high school.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe work area and/or equipment as required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions

The Assembler and Tester will work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dirt, dust, cold/heat (indoor), and cold/heat (outdoor). The job hazards of working around heavy equipment and machinery are present.
