Payroll Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for processing weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly payroll for construction employees, including salaried and hourly workers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify timesheets, attendance records, and other relevant documents for accuracy.
- Calculate wages, overtime, deductions, and benefits.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records in the payroll system.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management.
- Handle payroll-related inquiries and resolve any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with HR and accounting departments to ensure seamless payroll operations.
- Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation and distribution.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations affecting the construction industry.
