Position Overview
The Department of Pediatrics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a qualified individual for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position in the Division of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. This role emphasizes the provision of exceptional clinical care while contributing to the department's broader educational and research missions.

Clinical Responsibilities
The selected candidate will engage in clinical practice within a multidisciplinary Neonatal Critical Care Center (NCCC) that admits over 900 patients annually. The center is equipped with 64 beds and collaborates closely with pediatric surgical specialties, including general surgery and cardiothoracic surgery.

Educational Commitment
This position will also involve participation in the Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship Program, which is fully accredited and currently hosts 19 faculty members and 7 fellows. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the training of future healthcare professionals and researchers.

Research Opportunities
The Division is engaged in several NIH-funded research initiatives, including the ELGAN-ECHO Study and collaborations with various health networks focused on neonatal health. The faculty member will have opportunities to participate in innovative research projects aimed at advancing the field.
