Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Clinical Exercise Physiologist to join our team in Texas. As a Clinical Exercise Physiologist, you will be responsible for performing cardiopulmonary metabolic exercise testing (CPET) at various primary care physician offices, providing critical diagnostic information to support patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CPET at various primary care physician offices
  • Provide diagnostic information to support patient care
  • Work with state-of-the-art equipment, transporting, setting up, and maintaining equipment and supplies
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely results
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Requirements
  • Degree in Exercise Physiology or related field from an accredited university or college (Master's preferred)
  • Current ACLS Certification
  • Demonstration of past clinical stress testing and pulmonary function testing experience within a healthcare provider or university setting under physician supervision
  • Knowledge of oxygen consumption (VO2) as a cardiac/circulatory measure
  • Ability to read and interpret 12-lead ECGs
  • Knowledge of the benefits of gas exchange and Anaerobic Threshold (AT)
  • Knowledge of appropriate indications for exercise testing
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Demonstration of computer skills (e.g. Word, Excel, Access & Power Point, etc.) and the ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues
