Position Overview:

The Clinical Exercise Specialist will be responsible for conducting treadmill stress assessments and performing comprehensive health evaluations, including pulmonary function tests, body composition analysis, and auditory screenings. This role also involves providing exercise consultations tailored to individual patient needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer treadmill stress tests (Balke 3.3) for patient assessment.
  • Conduct health screenings, including pulmonary, body composition, and hearing evaluations.
  • Provide personalized exercise consultations to enhance patient wellness.
  • Prepare and finalize documentation for physician review in a preventive medicine setting.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or a related discipline.
  • Knowledge of EKG procedures is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Preferred certifications include ACSM Personal Trainer or CSCS.

Successful candidates will demonstrate exceptional communication and customer service skills, ensuring a superior patient care experience. The role requires a collaborative team player, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a professional demeanor.
