$31 - $34 per hour

This role involves offering clinical guidance and mentorship to agency direct care personnel, ensuring compliance with organizational policies as well as federal and state regulations. The Clinical Nursing Supervisor acts as a vital link between clinical and operational teams, as well as between the agency, hospitals, and the broader medical community.

The Clinical Nursing Supervisor will also deliver direct, skilled nursing care to clients as prescribed by physicians, adhering to the standards set by the State Board of Registered Nursing and the policies of Nursing Solutions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Mentoring and developing field staff both in the office and home settings.
  • Onboarding new nursing hires, conducting orientation, and competency evaluations.
  • Ensuring direct care staff deliver compliant and high-quality care.
  • Providing guidance on treatment orders and services in line with agency policies.
  • Reassessing patient needs, setting new goals, and coordinating discharge planning in consultation with healthcare providers.
  • Documenting visits and maintaining compliance with agency policies and regulatory standards.
  • Facilitating coordination of care among direct care staff and external healthcare providers.
  • Exemplifying a positive attitude and professional conduct for direct care staff.
  • Participating in staff development activities and in-service training.

Operational and administrative duties may occasionally extend beyond standard office hours. A solid understanding of Medicare and Medicaid regulations, as well as state licensure requirements, is essential.

Key Skills Required:

  • Ability to analyze and interpret scientific and technical literature.
  • Strong communication skills for presenting information to clients and team members.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving and data analysis.
  • Competence in using word processing software and electronic health records.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise independent judgment.
  • Valid state Driver's License with reliable transportation.
  • Minimum of two years of healthcare experience, including at least two years in home health.

The work environment is dynamic, as care is provided in various home settings. Employees may encounter diverse conditions, including household pets, varying temperatures, and other environmental factors.


Travel Requirements:

Frequent travel is necessary to fulfill agency responsibilities.
