You will work with state-of-the-art equipment and be responsible for transporting, setting up, and maintaining the equipment and supplies.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform cardiopulmonary metabolic exercise testing (CPET) at various primary care physician offices
  • Work with state-of-the-art equipment and be responsible for transporting, setting up, and maintaining the equipment and supplies
  • Provide important diagnostic information that is critical to patient care
  • Work with a team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
Requirements:
  • Degree in Exercise Physiology or related field from an accredited university or college (Master's preferred)
  • Current ACLS Certification
  • Demonstration of past clinical stress testing and pulmonary function testing experience within a healthcare provider or university setting under physician supervision
  • Knowledge of oxygen consumption (VO2) as a cardiac/circulatory measure
  • Ability to read and interpret 12-lead ECGs
  • Knowledge of the benefits of gas exchange and Anaerobic Threshold (AT)
  • Knowledge of appropriate indications for exercise testing
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Demonstration of computer skills (e.g. Word, Excel, Access & Power Point, etc.) and the ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues
