About the Role

The American Institutes for Research (AIR) is seeking a highly skilled HR Strategic Partner for Talent Development to join our Human Resources team. This role will play a crucial part in fostering a positive, high-performance work environment by supporting internal client groups and implementing strategic human capital initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Human Capital Partners (HCPs) and other HR specialists to engage in various areas, including employee relations, talent acquisition, staff development, and data-driven insights that shape our human capital strategies.
  • Assist HCPs with employee relations matters, including hiring, staff development, terminations, employee complaints, and legal actions, while mitigating organizational risk.
  • Support and coach management and staff on human resources-related topics.
  • Collaborate with the recruiting team to ensure effective execution of the recruiting strategy and process within assigned units.
  • Understand the talent needs of the organization and help anticipate recruitment and development planning issues.
Requirements

We are looking for an experienced professional with a Bachelor's degree in human resources, psychology, business administration, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of human resources experience, including supporting HR policies, practices, and procedures, as well as previous project management experience.

What We Offer

This position offers a competitive salary of $85,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on location and experience. AIR maintains a drug-free work environment and adheres to strict child safeguarding principles. All selected candidates will undergo reference and background checks.
