Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electronic Hardware Specialist to join our team at Kronos Consulting. As a key member of our engineering staff, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and implementation of electronic hardware for our products.

You will be responsible for developing test strategies, devices, and systems to ensure the quality and reliability of our electronic hardware. This includes performing stress and performance tests on electronic components such as circuit boards, microcontrollers, and wiring.

A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required, along with 4-6 years of experience in the field or a related area. You should have a strong understanding of various concepts, practices, and procedures in the field, and rely on your extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will also have strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected in this role.

This position typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

  • Experience with languages such as Python, C, LabWindow CVI, and LabView
  • Test requirement documents and certification processes (DO-160, DO-178, DO-254)
  • Embedded Operating Systems and RF equipment
  • Rack Stack Automated Testing Equipment (ATE), adapters, and cable sets

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $105,000 per year, depending on experience.
