Overview

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Hardware Engineer to join our Cloud Infrastructure Operations team at First Citizens Bank. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for monitoring, handling incidents, upgrading, and building new platforms to ensure the reliability and performance of our datacenter compute infrastructure.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide consultative direction and technical advice relating to operating systems, software, and hardware infrastructure.
  • Lead assigned technical projects ensuring accurate, timely, and quality delivery of project objectives.
  • Maintain strong knowledge base to effectively manage and maintain operations efficiency and guide others.
  • Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment, configuration, and management tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Systems engineer and systems programmer or High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Systems engineer and systems programmer.
  • 5+ years of experience designing, implementing and managing Cisco UCS, HPE ProLiant, and HPE Synergy hardware and tools.
  • Strong understanding of networking, storage, and virtualization concepts.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year.
