About the Role

As a Senior Hardware Engineer at First Citizens Bank, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure operations. With a strong focus on technical expertise and collaboration, you will work closely with our engineering teams to ensure the reliability and performance of our datacenter compute infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and manage Cisco UCS, HPE ProLiant, and HPE Synergy hardware and tools.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge base to effectively manage and maintain operations efficiency and guide others.
  • Provide senior-level troubleshooting related to hardware-based solutions, including performance optimization and system tuning.
  • Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment, configuration, and management tasks.
  • Continued education in the latest HPE and Cisco UCS technologies and best practices.

About You

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual with a strong background in systems engineering and programming. You should have a Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Systems engineer and systems programmer or High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Systems engineer and systems programmer. Preferred qualifications include extensive hands-on experience with Cisco UCS, HPE ProLiant, and HPE Synergy hardware and tools, as well as proficiency in scripting and automation using tools such as PowerShell, Python, and/or Ansible.
