Patient Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Service Representative to join our team at Advocate Health. As a Patient Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide efficient and high-quality service to patients, including scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and responding to patient inquiries.
- Ensure accurate and timely medical records, including updating patient information and maintaining confidentiality.
- Collect and process patient payments, including handling billing and insurance inquiries.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Two to three years of customer service experience in a high-volume, high-stress environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- CRT/PC experience in a customer service setting.
- Working knowledge of IDX system and medical records software.
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.
This position requires the ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain a professional demeanor in a stressful environment.
