Job Summary:

Elevance Health is seeking a Strategic Sales Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for acquiring new business and providing consultative sales support to Large Groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve new business targets for all lines of business.
  • Cultivate deep trust-based relationships with clients and develop comprehensive understandings of their needs and priorities.
  • Act as a consultative partner with brokers, consultants, and key decision makers to provide expert guidance and support.
  • Develop and implement strategic business plans to address client needs and drive growth opportunities.
  • Conduct education and training sessions with brokers, agencies, and clients on industry topics and anticipate potential client needs.
  • Coordinate with internal partners to meet and exceed client expectations and drive additional growth and product sales.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, and continuously update knowledge in a rapidly changing environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years of sales experience, or any combination of education and experience that would provide an equivalent background.
  • Sales license required.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Experience with office tools, cloud-based software, social media, and collaboration tools.
  • Experience in Large Group insurance.
  • Experience working for a TPA.
