About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Human Factors Engineer to join our team at Medtronic. As a key member of our Product Innovations organization, you will play a critical role in executing human factors efforts to drive innovation and improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead human factors projects to support business portfolio goals
  • Conduct usability testing and analysis to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement human factors program activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop medical devices that meet user needs
  • Mentor and coach junior human factors staff to develop their skills and expertise
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Factors, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in human factors engineering, with a focus on medical devices
  • Advanced degree or certification in human factors engineering a plus
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
