Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ophthalmologist to join our team at Staff4Me. As an Ophthalmologist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services to our patients, diagnosing and treating various eye conditions, and performing surgical procedures as necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Eye Examinations: Conduct thorough eye examinations to diagnose and treat eye conditions and diseases.
  • Medication and Treatment: Prescribe and administer appropriate medications and treatment plans.
  • Surgical Procedures: Perform surgical procedures, such as cataract surgery, LASIK, and glaucoma surgery.
  • Pre- and Post-Operative Care: Provide pre- and post-operative care to patients undergoing eye surgeries.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with optometrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive eye care.
  • Medical Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
  • Professional Development: Stay informed about advancements in ophthalmic technology and treatment options through continuous education and professional development.
  • Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and protocols.
Requirements
  • Medical Degree: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
  • Medical License: Valid medical license and board certification in Ophthalmology.
  • Experience: Proven experience as an Ophthalmologist, with expertise in diagnosis and treatment of various eye conditions and diseases.
  • Skills: Proficiency in performing eye surgeries, including cataract surgery, LASIK, and glaucoma surgery. Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment. Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Flexibility to work varying hours and handle emergency situations.
