We believe that every child should have equal access to exceptional early learning experiences. Studies indicate that a child's brain develops rapidly during the first six years, establishing a foundation for future growth. Unfortunately, many families face obstacles in accessing these vital educational resources. Our goal is to bridge the gap and connect families with the necessary tools to facilitate early learning opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stay informed about local early childhood education resources within Boone, Kenton, and Campbell counties, collaborating with providers and community stakeholders to enhance educational referrals.
  • Work alongside families to identify their strengths and link them to community resources and public assistance programs, thereby minimizing barriers to early education enrollment.
  • Assist in recognizing systemic challenges that hinder young children from accessing early education, particularly focusing on issues such as racial disparities and economic hardships.

Qualifications:

  • Exhibit cultural awareness and a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Possess a valid Driver's License, personal transportation, and appropriate vehicle insurance.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the Northern Kentucky area.
  • One to two years of experience in human services or early childhood education, directly engaging with families and young children.
  • Experience in conducting strength-based assessments and person-centered planning.
  • Preferred: Post-secondary education in Early Childhood Education or Human Services.

This position is classified as exempt with a salary range of $38,000 - $40,000.
