Job Overview:

The Social Media Marketing Director will play a pivotal role in crafting and executing a robust social media and influencer marketing strategy aimed at amplifying the organization's digital footprint, engaging target demographics, and fostering brand loyalty. This position entails leading the social media and influencer marketing team, orchestrating social media initiatives, analyzing performance metrics, and remaining abreast of industry developments. The Director will also collaborate with various teams to ensure social media activities align with overarching marketing and communication objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and implement a holistic social media strategy that aligns with the organization's vision and objectives. Identify target demographics and develop content plans to enhance engagement, follower growth, and brand visibility.
  • Lead and oversee the social media and influencer marketing team; establish clear goals, provide mentorship, encourage teamwork and professional development, and assess team performance.
  • Supervise the creation and curation of engaging and pertinent content across multiple social media platforms, ensuring that content is tailored for each channel, adheres to brand standards, and resonates with the intended audience.
  • Design and execute social media campaigns to showcase products, launches, events, or initiatives; partner with brand marketing and creative teams to develop impactful campaigns that drive engagement, expand reach, and boost conversions.
  • Utilize social media analytics tools to monitor, evaluate, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics. Analyze data to uncover trends, insights, and opportunities for enhancement. Provide regular updates and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Negotiate and finalize strategic partnerships with celebrities and brands to elevate awareness and drive sales.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with licensors, brands, talent agents, stylists, and celebrity advocates of the brand.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all social media channels and verify that messaging aligns with the organization's brand identity.
  • Stay informed about emerging social media trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Propose and implement innovative strategies to enhance the organization's social media presence and engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience in social media management within a leadership capacity.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, tools, and trends.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing successful social media growth strategies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in social media analytics tools and the ability to interpret data effectively.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate compelling content ideas.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and best practices.

Physical Requirements:
