Position Overview
As a Sales Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to engage with our clientele, delivering exceptional service that fosters a strong connection. You will become a knowledgeable resource on our product offerings, using this knowledge to educate, inform, and inspire customers while assisting them in making informed purchasing decisions. Your role will also involve providing insights on the current product range, promotional activities, and store events, while ensuring that operational tasks are executed with precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • All team members are expected to master the brand's selling techniques, applying these skills with every customer interaction to ensure a premium shopping experience.
  • Act as a role model to prioritize customer satisfaction and store objectives.
  • Collaborate with the store leadership team to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule.
  • Develop and share expertise in a designated specialized area.
  • Assist with operational processes before or after store hours, including opening and closing duties as necessary.
  • Engage with customers by listening and asking questions to understand their needs and provide tailored service.
  • Manage unique or complex customer interactions with professionalism.
Qualifications
  • Completion of job readiness training through one of Gap Inc.'s nonprofit partners is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively utilize technology to engage with customers and team members.
  • Proactive problem solver focused on continuous improvement, open to feedback, and willing to take necessary actions.
  • Capable of handling customer interactions and addressing potential issues with courtesy and professionalism.
  • Able to acquire procedural knowledge through on-the-job training.
