Job Title: Director of Accounting

Quatrro Business Support Services is seeking a Director of Accounting to oversee end-to-end accounting processes for multiple nonprofit clients. As the main point of contact and internal liaison, you will play a pivotal role in shaping a compelling vision for developing and implementing an effective client strategy that will empower clients to reach their financial goals and objectives successfully.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver accurate and timely financial statements, coaching, and counseling to stakeholders and operations managers to help improve margins and impact their bottom line.
  • Lead budget processes and incorporate periodic analytics.
  • Work closely with clients to solve issues related to complicated financial statement situations.
  • Monitor finances to aid clients functioning within those guidelines, and provide financial analysis and advice to clients.
  • Provide best practices within Quatrro to help the client improve their business execution.
  • Coordinate with other internal Quatrro teams for consultative support on all financial services.
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to cross-functional teams aligned to a particular client delivery process.
  • Address client concerns and issues to ensure they are resolved promptly and dealt with according to client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • 4-year degree in accounting, finance, or business with an accounting/finance focus (or equivalent knowledge/experience).
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in accounting and finance.
  • Minimum 4 years of Controller experience.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
  • Demonstrated people management experience and success leading a team of direct reports, with a focus on coaching and developing Senior Accountants and Accounting Managers.
  • Advanced knowledge of federal and state tax laws.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and functions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of industry-specific accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Deep understanding of accounting principles and processes.
  • Experienced in creating processes and efficiencies to create an operational Center of Excellence.
  • Strong business acumen, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated success working collaboratively and building relationships with key stakeholders and C-level executives.
