Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor the Lodge Accounting Team, fostering a culture that is reflective of Great Wolf's Values.
  • Guide the accounting/financial operations of 21 operating properties, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for each property.
  • Analyze operating performance against budgets and forecasts, and develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure consistency across properties.
  • Ensure data consistency and integration across all properties, and identify and drive process standardization, optimization, and consistent reporting and analysis of shared services activities for operating properties.
  • Build and maintain relationships with on-property Directors of Finance and Regional Directors of Finance, and communicate financial results and performance metrics to senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • CPA certification required.
  • Demonstrated experience as a people manager, with a minimum of 10 years of accounting experience, and experience in a leadership role (5+ years in a leadership role strongly preferred).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting systems, and excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with hotels and/or theme parks preferred.
  • Experience in a shared service environment and the ability to occasionally travel.
