Position Overview:

The Specialist II in Marketing Project Management plays a crucial role in supporting the various stages of project planning and execution. This includes strategy formulation, scope definition, budget management, performance metrics, timeline adherence, task allocation, progress monitoring, and thorough documentation, ensuring that projects are delivered with high quality, on schedule, and within financial constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Documentation: Collect and document project requests efficiently.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and the Marketing leadership team to secure project approvals, prioritize tasks, and outline completion criteria.
  • Scope Development: Assist in defining and refining project scope in collaboration with the project manager.
  • Research: Conduct necessary project research to support planning efforts.
  • Meeting Facilitation: Schedule and lead project kickoff meetings and other necessary discussions.
  • Resource Coordination: Collaborate with various Marketing departments to assess human resource needs and available capacity.
  • Task Management: Enter and monitor project tasks and milestones using project management tools.
  • Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with project team members regarding progress and any changes in scope.
  • Coordination: Inform and coordinate with the project manager throughout all project phases.
  • Team Participation: Actively contribute as a member of project teams, sharing insights and knowledge related to creative processes.
  • Approval Management: Ensure all necessary approvals are obtained from relevant stakeholders.
  • Multi-Project Management: Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely completion within budget and quality standards.
  • Success Metrics: Collaborate with relevant departments to analyze metrics that determine project success.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge in creative disciplines.
  • Proficiency in software applications such as Word, Excel, and project management tools.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, with a keen attention to detail and strong interpersonal abilities.

Education and Experience:

A Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Business, Communications, Design, Writing, Photography, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in project management roles.
