Terracon is seeking a highly skilled Project Industrial Hygiene Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our industrial hygiene team, you will be responsible for leading complex projects that require innovative investigation techniques.
Key Responsibilities- Develop a thorough understanding of project-related risks and lead safety efforts for the team.
- Ensure team members follow safety rules and guidelines, and promote a safe work environment.
- Lead and participate in teams of industrial hygiene professionals with local and regional Terracon offices.
- Supervise the analysis and formation of recommendations in written reports.
- Assist in establishing and updating current policies and procedures for technical projects in the field of expertise.
- Provide technical direction and training to less experienced professional staff.
- Participate in the development of marketing strategies and presentations of qualifications to clients on projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Safety, Environmental Science, or a related science field.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in industrial hygiene or a related field.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and/or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable violation history.
